GOOD TO KNOW :
You have the choice of booking in one of the two bivouacs available in the Gorges de l’Ardèche nature reserve:
- The Bivouac de GAUD, located about 1/3 of the way along the entire route, is recommended for people who start their navigation in the afternoon on the first day, as it allows them to navigate less on day 1 and a little more on day 2. It is generally less busy than the GOURNIER bivouac.
- The GOURNIER bivouac, very popular because it’s on the same route, allows you to sail 16km per day, cutting your sailing time into 2 equal sessions.
